Pianist and Howard University Professor Raymond Jackson has devoted his scholarship to researching and reviving music by black composers, especially music for the piano. Discover rarely performed music by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor and Frederick Eliot Lewis as well as classics by Eubie Blake, Beethoven and Chopin in this impeccably researched performance by an “eloquent” (The New York Times) pianist with a passion for the past.
