A special co-presentation with the Washington Performing Arts Society and BSO at Strathmore brings the La Scala Philharmonic of Italy, on its first extended symphonic tour of the United States in 20 years, to Strathmore. Riccardo Chailly will conduct the orchestra in only seven cities next October, performing Rossini, Rota, and Respighi.
