
Violinist and current Baltimore resident Bin Huang endeared herself to the musical world when at age fourteen she won the Junior Wieniawski International Violin Competition in Lublin, Poland, sharing First Prize with Maxim Vengerov. Ms. Huang has been universally lauded for her interpretive and technical skills, hailed as a “talent that leaves a listener flabbergasted” (The Baltimore Sun). When pianist Sa Chen was still a teenager, she was named first-prize winner of the 1994 China International Piano Competition. In 2005, she was award third prize and became the first recipient of the Crystal Award at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. Ms. Chen’s debut disc Chopin Impression was released in 2003 on the JVC label. Cellist Wendy Law appeared as soloist with renowned orchestras including the New York Philharmonic, Boston Symphony, Singapore Symphony, Russian Philharmonic, and Juilliard Orchestra.
