Young maestro Edward Gardner takes the baton to lead the BSO and the Baltimore Choral Arts Society in one of Beethoven’s best. Performed to a sold-out house last year, the composer’s final symphonic work will close the BSO at Strathmore’s 2005-06 season with the everlasting melody of Beethoven’s Ode to Joy.
