Composer and pianist Jessica Krash pushes the envelope of musical forms, creating and performing music that is always fresh and compelling. She has drawn critical praise in performances from Washington to New York to Europe, and her recently released recording for solo piano was selected by The Washington Post as one of the year’s most interesting in 2005. Hear this artist in an unforgettable program that includes her own compositions for solo piano, including the world premiere of Fog, a work that explores the obscured vision between old and new, youth and middle age. The program continues with the wry and poignant PTA, Mother From Another Planet, Details at 11, and several other short new works.
