Plein Air Camp for Teens 2011
Ages 11-14
July 7-9, 2011, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Young artists ages 11–14 enjoy time outdoors capturing the sights of the Strathmore campus. Instructor Lee Boynton is a master of impressionism in both oil and watercolor known for his techniques in reproducing the natural spectrum of light. He also serves as president and founder of the Mid Atlantic Plein Air Painters Association.

Art Camp 2011: depARTures: Art Outside the Box!
Ages 5-10
Session 1: August 1-5, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Session 2: August 8-12, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Session 3: August 15-19, 9:30AM – 12:30 PM

Especially for young artists ages 5 – 10, this series will be taught by Rosana Azar of Creative Adventures. Azar is known for her own work exploring vivid color patterns and a textural approach to painting. In these sessions Azar and her team of professional teachers help kids tackle some big questions about life with creativity, humor, some work and lots and lots of fun.
